Toromont Cat is looking for a Collections Clerk to join our team This position will have regular review with two Credit Managers on follow-up with customers on receivables that are past due in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a great customer experience. Includes advising customers of payment options, processing credit card payments, providing any supporting documentation requested and reconciling accounts.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:
- Work with internal teams, communicating disputes for timely resolution and regular follow-up until dispute resolved
- Assist with monitoring accounts and unapplied cash reports to ensure cash has been applied on a timely basis. Follow-up with customer if required for payment details and inform customer of duplicate payments on a timely basis
- Provide updates on status of accounts to Credit Managers and assist in statement reconciliations
- Customer account maintenance for change in address, contacts, statements, portals
- Review of customer accounts including but not limited to credit checks and assisting in credit releases
- Provide customers copies of invoices and account statements upon requests
- Sending out to customers the credit card payment portal link
**Must-haves for this role**:
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in account receivables collection would be an asset
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem solving skills with a customer service focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work effectively with supervision as required
