**JOB SUMMARY**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze project specifications, drawings and other construction documents to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
- Collaborate with the project team and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives to prepare cost plans
- Collaborate with project team and site supers on constructability review sessions
- Solicit and evaluate supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing
- Manage the entire tendering process and any related reporting/documentation
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment and overhead costs
- Conduct periodical on-site visits
- Provide guidance and expertise to bid review meetings
- Maintain education and knowledge of industry best practices, pricing and trends
- Other activities as required

**QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS**
- Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma related to Business, Mathematics or Statistics
- Proven experience of 5 - 10 years in construction estimating, with a strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and methods
- Experience and knowledge in the construction of projects that are concrete structures
- Gold Seal Certification in Estimating or working towards completion is an asset
- Proficient with MS Office Applications
- Experience in Procore and Bluebeam is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional with the ability to work independently or collaborate to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Maintain a current driver's license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
