**Sheridan Nurseries Distribution is actively searching for a**:
Traffic Clerk

Seasonal Contract, Full-Time

**About the Job**:
Reporting to the Traffic Coordinator, the Traffic Clerk is responsible for assisting with the organization, planning and execution of related activities at our Distribution facility in Georgetown.

**Your Accountabilities**:

- Update whiteboard schedule for daily and weekly loads
- Complete set-up sheets for outbound loads as assigned by the Traffic Coordinator
- Prepare logs for shippers and daily load sheets for internal and external shipments
- Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) and driver’s instructions for Common Carriers
- Prepare Proof of Delivery (POD) for Sheridan Nurseries trucks for delivery or pick-up, including maps if needed
- Pull picks for loads
- Handling of change forms in conjunction with the Traffic Assistants
- Service pick-up and driver’s windows
- Manage guest call list and driver’s sign-in/sign-out log
- Place calls to carriers when outbound loads are completed for trailer pick up in conjunction with Traffic Assistants
- Prepare US load paperwork, including driver’s instructions, customs, and customer packages in conjunction with the Traffic Assistants, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Experience or education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Detail oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and previous data entry experience
- High standard of professionalism with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple demands, setting priorities, and exhibiting strong problem-solving skills
- Resourceful and self-directed with the ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with others to achieve goals
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Punctual and dependable, and highly value honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including some evenings and weekends as seasonal peaks require
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
