Upon being featured on Food Network's Project Bakeover, the demand has quickly increased, hence, the call to grow our team. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and self-directed individual that will bring their passion and experience to our well-loved products and work environment.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
*Bake cakes, cupcakes, and pastries according to company standards *Prep cake and pastry components accurately *Assist in dough work and preparations *Decorate cakes and cupcakes according to daily demands and orders *Communicate and work efficiently with team *Maintain proper workplace food safety and health standards (i.e. clean uniform, proper grooming, non-slip shoes, proper sanitation, etc) *Keep workplace and work stations clean, tidy, and sanitary *Practice proper health and hygiene protocols

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
*Must have some baking experience *Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn *Must be available during Saturday shift and/or opening shifts. *Must strictly adhere to food safety practices and standards and COVID-19 protocols while preparing products and working within the premises *A Valid Food Safety and Handler's Certificate is an asset *1+ year of Culinary Management is an asset *Customer Service Experience is an asset

**SKILLS AS ASSETS**:
*A student or graduate of a Baking and/or Culinary Arts program *Ability to create new products based off of the culture of our brand *Ability to decorate cakes and cupcakes with speed and finesse *Food Safety and Handling Certified *Knowledge of WHMIS *Customer Service Experience *At least 1 year of culinary experience

**JOB TYPES**:Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**PART-TIME HOURS**:15-20 per week (+/- depending on demand)

**COMPENSATION**:$17-$18 per hour
