Solutions**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of meals to residents, patients, or customers.
- Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of meal preparation schedules.
- Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure an efficient and organized workflow.
- Monitor and record food and supply inventory levels, notifying the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Follow dietary restrictions and special dietary requirements as directed by healthcare professionals or individual needs.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, patients, or customers.
- Learn and comply with the organization's processes, protocols, and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care, hospital, or restaurant setting.
- Valid Food Handler's permit.
- Proficient in preparing breakfast meals with mínimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow dietary restrictions and special dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the organization's processes and protocols.

**Work Schedule and Compensation**:

- The position is part-time, with approximately 3-4 shifts per week.
- Working hours are from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- The pay rate for this position is $22 per hour.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Long term, hospital or restaurant: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler's permit (required)
