**Role Description**

This is a part-time on-site role for a Business Intelligence & Project Management Instructor at NAB College located in Mississauga, ON. The instructor will be responsible for delivering lectures and hands-on training on topics related to business intelligence and project management. They will also be involved in curriculum development, assessment, and student support.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching and Instruction**:
Course Development: Develop and update curriculum and course materials for business intelligence and project management courses, ensuring they reflect current industry practices and standards.

Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics such as data analytics, data visualization, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), project planning, execution, monitoring, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

Student Assessment: Design and grade exams, assignments, projects, and practical exercises to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

**Curriculum and Program Development**:
Course Syllabi: Create detailed course syllabi outlining learning objectives, course content, grading criteria, and reading materials for both BI and project management topics.

Program Improvement: Continuously improve the curriculum by incorporating feedback from students, industry experts, and academic peers, ensuring it remains relevant and rigorous.

**Student Support and Advising**:
Academic Advising: Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them navigate their educational paths and career goals in both business intelligence and project management.

Career Guidance: Assist students with career planning and job search strategies, including resume building, interview preparation, and networking in both fields.

**Research and Professional Development**:
**Stay Current**: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and project management.

**Professional Development**: Engage in professional development opportunities, such as attending conferences, participating in workshops, and earning relevant certifications in BI and project management.

**Administrative Duties**:
**Departmental Meetings**: Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall functioning and improvement of the academic department.

**Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
**Educational Background**: A master’s or doctoral degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

**Industry Experience**: Mini 48 months of experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, and project management. Teaching experience is preferred.

**Skills and Competencies**

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, data visualization techniques, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project Management: In-depth knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
