**Fall 2023 Academic Year (2 semester)**: August 13th, 2023 - April 27th, 2024

**Compensation**: $17.50/hr

**Summer Hours**: 10-25 hours per week

**Academic Year Hours**: 10-15 hours per week

The HOEM Videographer will create compelling, relevant video content that will draw in and engage the student demographic to our YouTube and social media pages. The HOEM Videographer will report directly to the Student Experience Manager. It is mandatory that HOEM Videographer live at HOEM.

Your Duties

**Content Creation**: You will be responsible for brainstorming video ideas for YouTube and social media which showcase student housing at HOEM, HOEM student life, our community, events, and Toronto living.

**Shooting Videos and Photography**: You will be responsible for filming highly engaging videos, collecting footage and photos at HOEM events both inside and outside of the building. You are also required to find students to take part in the video’s and feel comfortable appearing in them yourself.

**Editing Videos**: In the summer, you will be responsible for editing and releasing two YouTube and two Social Media video, bi-weekly. During the academic year, you will be responsible for editing and releasing one YouTube and one Social Media video, bi-weekly.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro/Final Cut Pro and After Effects;
- Experience in videography and post-production editing;
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Friendly, approachable and personable;
- Maintain student status throughout term of employment;
- Be a super fun to work with
