**Your Opportunity**

An opportunity exists for a Financial Analyst with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a member of the Financial Services team and business partner with operations, the Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise in the day-to-day operations of financial reporting adding value to the company.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing draft financial statements, performing analysis and preparing month end journals and reconciliations
- Conducting earned value assessments and project reviews, highlighting projects with financial risk to ensure revenue is recognized appropriately. Simultaneously, reviewing contracts to highlight clauses that may impact revenue recognition
- Supporting Leadership in the development of annual operating, shared services and capital budgets, as well as financial forecasts
- Collaborating with both internal and external auditors on specific requests that help support internal controls and the external audit
- Supporting Financial Manager routinely, including ad hoc analysis and reports

**Qualifications**

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Intermediate level accounting knowledge with understanding of full-cycle accounting and Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of contractual agreements with clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with various stakeholders
- Strong multi-tasking, analytical and organizational skills

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Commerce or related field. Accounting Designation or working towards it is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience. Previous experience in the professional services industry is considered an asset.
