**Your Responsibilities**
- Leadership_
- Lead, oversee, and coordinate operations at Harvest Haven, championing the organization’s mission and vision.
- Cultivate an environment of transparent communication and forge enduring relationships with employees, residents, and families.
- Offer guidance, coaching, and unwavering encouragement to cultivate a positive and thriving work culture.
- Contribute significantly to long-term planning efforts, ensuring a harmonious balance of excellence, innovation, and compliance within budgetary confines.
- Coordinate all-encompassing care services for residents, guaranteeing the seamless execution of daily operations.
- Proactively identify and address ongoing training needs, fostering continuous improvement within the team.
- Collaborate closely with Human Resources, overseeing pivotal aspects such as recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, fostering an atmosphere conducive to open and constructive dialogue.
- Assume the role of the manager on call for both Broadway Terrace and Harvest Haven, providing reliable support and guidance as needed.
- Manage the procurement of supplies and the approval of invoices with efficiency and precision.
- Monitor, investigate, and diligently follow up on all incident reports, ensuring thorough resolution and accountability.
- Engage in Quality Improvement programs according to local protocols, participate in monthly fire drills and debrief sessions with employees.
- Collaborate with the Broadway Terrace Wellness Nurse as required and provide coverage in their absence.
- Enter data as necessary to support job functions and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
- Embrace and execute any additional assigned duties.
- Resident Care_
- Ensure Community Care Partners receive adequate support to adhere to care protocols and procedures.
- Assist Nurse Practitioner with procedures when necessary.
- Craft individualized resident care plans and ensure team adherence
- Provide hands-on resident care according to established protocols.
- Accurately accept, transcribe, and initiate physician orders, including telephone orders.
- Monitor, report, and document physical and psychological observations and changes in resident conditions.
- Conduct assessments for potential new residents.
- Oversee personal hygiene assistance, ensuring resident comfort and dignity.
- Collect various specimens adhering to strict protocols.
- Assist with nutritional support and hydration, including meal assistance and procedures.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care, including dressing changes and wound care.
- Administer interventional and therapeutic treatments.
- Coordinate team activities related to resident tests and care.
- Monitor blood glucose levels and take appropriate action.
- Oversee bowel and bladder care procedures.
- Assist with resident mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Interpret and monitor vital signs using cardiac monitors and telemetry devices.
- Support residents' emotional well-being and behavior as outlined in their care plans.
- Foster effective communication between residents and their support systems.
- Assess and coordinate all aspects of palliative care.
- Provide post-mortem care.
- Monitor and investigate reports of communicable diseases.
- Medication Administration_
- Supervise and document medication administration, encompassing various routes such as oral, subcutaneous, pulmonary, rectal, and intramuscular.
- Maintain meticulous records to ensure proper tracking of narcotics, including counting and recording.
- Verify the precision of medication administration records, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
- Promptly identify and report any medication administration errors, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Indirect Resident Care_
- Participate in mediation reviews alongside family members, Nurse Practitioner, and Pharmacy representatives.
- Conduct assessments for transfers, lifts, and repositioning, ensuring appropriate signage placement.
- Handle paperwork for resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, including completing necessary forms and maintaining accurate records.
- Engage in shift reports to ensure seamless communication among team members and keep the care team informed about changes in residents' status.
- Offer specialized procedure training to Community Care Partners as needed.

**Your Qualifications**
- Practical Nursing Diploma from a recognized institution.
