**We are currently looking for a **Manager, CPO & Fleet** at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON**

The Manager, CPO & Fleet has strategic and managerial oversight and responsibility to ensure the successful achievement of Volkswagen Canada’s Certified Pre Owned (CPO) and Fleet Sales objectives, including electrification leadership.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales, you will develop and implement the tools, processes and programs necessary to realize successful outcomes in both of these two business streams. External customers include the daily rental companies, commercial / corporate fleet customers, fleet management companies, government and the Volkswagen dealer network. You will lead a team of field-based Fleet & CPO Sales Managers and a Program Coordinator to ensure effective execution of Volkswagen’s Fleet and CPO strategies.

**This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the Ajax office**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead and steer a team of 2 Fleet & CPO Sales Managers and an internal Fleet & CPO Program Coordinator towards the successful achievement of Volkswagen Canada’s Fleet & CPO KPI’s
- Liaise with Fleet & CPO counterparts at VWGoA to establish a working relationship and the sharing of best practices under the new NAR (North American Region) seeking synergy and cost-sharing initiatives
- Manage and maintain positive relations with used car colleagues at VWAG ensuring Canada is complying with any global standards and informing Senior Management of any upcoming changes to global used car strategies

Fleet
- Develop, prepare and implement a comprehensive Fleet strategy and accompanying business plan, with specific focus on the growth of Volkswagen Canada’s Commercial Fleet penetration in the Canadian market, including electrification
- Work with and provide direction to the field team in identifying potential commercial fleet customers through contacts and relationships established with the various Fleet Management companies across the country
- Develop a clear Dealer Engagement plan to support Commercial Fleet growth strategy by installing official VW fleet agencies within the Volkswagen dealer network
- Prepare a detailed delivery and budget forecast by customer and vehicle line; work collaboratively with Manager, Sales Planning and Brand Controller to align on a profitable fleet plan
- Identify and analyze fleet client needs, develop tailored product solutions, prepare integrated service offerings that balance client satisfaction, profitability and risk
- Maintain regular Fleet contacts ensuring satisfaction with Volkswagen’s products, ordering and delivery process
- Grow and develop business relationships with various Fleet Management Companies and Government Agencies
- Develop and maintain personalized business relationships with Fleet customers in order to promote the Volkswagen’s product portfolio products and services
- Conduct product training with various Commercial Accounts & Fleet Management Companies to showcase Volkswagen product advantages
- Leverage the group and synergize with Audi Canada to identify joint fleet opportunities and approaches to growing the business

Certified Pre-Owned
- Responsible for achieving Certified Pre-Owned sales goals and identify tactical marketing and incentive actions at both a national and regional level which would improve sales and used car stock levels
- Develop effective CPO programs designed to support objectives
- Establish clear management reporting related to CPO results
- Develop and implement ongoing dealer training programs based on CPO processes and procedures
- Oversee the development and execution of consumer facing and dealer CPO incentive programs
- Responsible for updating and implementing Dealer Operating Standards (in collaboration with Network Development) clearly outlining Dealership facility, staffing and performance standards as it relates to the certified pre-owned business
- Coach and influence the Dealers and develop the business case for VW and competitive used car buying (off-lease, off-rental) and selling
- Diagnose used car performance inhibitors, such as lack of knowledge, motivation, capacity constraints and have the ability to develop a dealer specific business case and action plan to drive dealer engagement
- Coordinate VW Brand, Dealer and Volkswagen Finance participation for industry events (i.e. Auto remarketing Conferences)
