**Liquor Store Sales Associate**

Join the Swans Cold Beer & Wine Store team and become a part of a thriving community of beverage and hospitality enthusiasts Our Sales Associate position is a unique opportunity for those who are passionate about beer, wine, spirits, and providing top-notch customer service.

As a sales associate, you'll be the face of our store, helping guests discover and learn about our wide selection of products. From featured items to new arrivals, you'll have the chance to constantly expand your knowledge and expertise in the beverage industry.

Our full service liquor store offers a convenient one-stop-shop experience, with a wide range of products available for purchase in one location. This can include everything from popular, everyday brands to rare and specialty items, and customers can expect to find a selection of products that suits their individual tastes and preferences.

In addition to selling products, we also offer services such as product recommendations, pairing suggestions, and ordering special items for customers. Overall our store is a comprehensive and convenient resource for customers and provides a knowledgeable and welcoming shopping experience.

Swans Cold Beer & Wine Store is much more than just a liquor store. We're a brewery, pub and hotel, all rolled into one. With over 30 years of history in Victoria, we've established ourselves as a staple in the community, and we're looking for individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide a high level of customer service by establishing contact, greeting customers, answer customer product questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Initiate opportunities for additional sales.
- Maintain a balanced float while on shift and count cash drawer at the end of shift.
- Assists in receiving and storing products.
- Stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock in a clean and visually appealing order.
- Cleans and maintains store and equipment.
- Handle products and operate equipment adequately.
- Participate in maintaining a prosperous and enjoyable work environment for all staff.
- Other related duties.

- Previous cashier and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, such as retail, hospitality, or food services.
- Proficiency at solving problems efficiently and effectively.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and potential holiday shifts.

- Able to standing / move for 4-8 hours, lift and or carry products up to 25lbs frequently, lift above the shoulders.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

**Experience**:
