Grademan

Overview:
We're presently looking for a fine grade operator with surveying experience. GPS experience is preferred, experience also required in bulk excavation, rough grading, and final grading for road reconstruction projects. This is a union position with full union benefits.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years as a Grademan
- Maintain a drivers license
- Punctual and available to work
- Travel to various sites in and around the city of Ottawa

**Requirements**:

- Fine grade parking lots and prepare for paving
- Able to use a line level and GPS
- Knowledge of grader equipment and road material
- Ability to work independently
- Team player
- Knowledge of various granular material
- Able to communicate with personell and provide direction
- Safe operation of a grader
- Ability to fine grade with various equipment ie; backhoe, skidsteer

**Salary**: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 55 per week
