Education: Other trades certificates or diploma

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years; 500 to 1,500 hours minimum depending on type.

Work site environment: Commercial aviation, outdoors, bush pilot, forest firefighting, aerial survey, Heavy equipment

Work setting: Staff accommodation available, rural area, remote location, various locations.

Responsibilities: Fly helicopters, co-ordinate flight activities with ground crew, monitor operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight, perform post-flight inspections, report required repairs to ground crew, conduct pre-flight inspections, ensure weight and balance specifications are met, prepare flight reports, participate in emergency response planning, familiarity with Cirro and able to learn computer programs as needed.

Credentials: Canadian commercial helicopter pilot license. 205, 212, and 407 endorsements.

Priority given to those with experience on Bell 205/212

Additional information: Need to pass a medical exam, valid driver’s license, willing to travel, travel expenses paid by employer.
