Dozer Operator

**JOB SUMMARY**

Dozer Operator with experience in reclamation. This role involves stripping overburden, ripping, placing topsoil and other reclamation activities. Experience in heavy civil earthworks construction, mining or oilfield maintenance services is preferred. Dozer operators are also required to conduct pre-operational checks and maintenance to ensure machinery safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with construction teams, with a focus on adhering to project specifications and safety regulations. The role requires a good understanding of construction operations, physical stamina, and the ability to interpret site plans.

**OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Experience on a dozer, finish operating experience an asset.
- Heavy civil earthworks, construction, and/or oilfield maintenance services industry experience.
- Proven experience stripping overburden, ripping, placing topsoil and reclamation activities.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment prior to operation.
- Abide by all Safety standards and codes.
- Follow directions that are spoken or delivered by hand signals of ground crew members.
- Perform other related tasks as required.

**REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience on a (D6) dozer, operating for reclamation leases and lease builds and roads.
- Experience with GPS systems an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Knowledge of construction methods, road construction materials, heavy equipment operation and industry requirements
- Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must be fit-for-duty.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.

- Class 5 drivers license

**TRAVEL & SCHEDULE**
- Willing to stay in camp accommodations if required.
- Willing to travel.
