Kids Without Limits supports parents and guardians of children with autism and/or other developmental delays, by coordinating temporary relief and the opportunity to take a break from the demands of daily care of their loved ones. The support we provide enables children to have meaningful and successful lives in their community. Kids Without Limits is a locally owned and operated respite agency in the Greater Edmonton area. We are dedicated to providing enriching and engaging experiences for children, as well as the opportunity to relax and recharge for parents. **Job Overview**:
The Respite Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring a positive client and family experience by effectively scheduling respite services with support workers out in the community. You will work closely with the management team, caregivers, and families to ensure that all clients receive the support they need.

**Responsibilities**:

- 1:1 in home support with respite support workers.
- Communicating with families, caregivers, and management to ensure that all client needs are being met
- Ensure staff are scheduled effectively and efficiently.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all client information
- Coordinating with the scheduling team to ensure that clients are matched with appropriate caregivers
- Performing various office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Performing other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma and one year of experience working in childcare, or related setting.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or vulnerable populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- working with children: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and vehicle (required)
- criminal record check completed within 60 days (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
