We are currently recruiting a full-time OBGYN to join our team at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH). We are a group of four generalists, attending approximately 830 deliveries each year.

STEGH is a level 2A hospital with full pediatric and anesthesia support. We also provide consultative services to midwives. Locum positions are also available with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position should a physician be interested.

The position is available immediately, and offers:

- Ample OR time (minimum 2 days per month)
- Newly built operating rooms (2018), with access to laparoscopy and hysteroscopy
- Home call, one week day and one weekend a month
- Access to Ambulatory Care for minor procedures, such as LEEPs
- Opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students through Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University
- FRCSC certified
- Registered with CPSO
- Canadian Citizen/Permanent resident
- Interested in mínimally invasive gynecology or urogynecology (considered an asset)
