- This leader will be responsible for service excellence supporting our patients in accessing their personal health information through the use of the patient portal and other access methods be they in-person or electronic. They will be responsible for the processes of chart corrections that ensure patient record accuracy, maintenance of standards, and integration with other clinical systems.- Working with their portfolio leadership, as well as clinical stakeholders, they will work to align with organizational objectives and optimize patients’ use of the portal. They will collaborate with clinical and front line staff to inform and educate on how patients use the portal and the importance of patient record accuracy for safety and continuity of care. They will work collaboratively with our Atlas Alliance partners to promote aligned objectives.- The incumbent will lead a team of MyChart support staff ensuring proper handling of support requests, personal health information and the TOH legal patient record as well as lead the Atlas Alliance Chart Correction team in their role with accurate patient identification, resolving errors in the patient record and ensuring record linking across all partners clinical systems and registries. This critical work supports many upstream and downstream activities within the organization as they relate to patients' timely access to their personal health information as well as continuity of patient care.**What you will bring**:
- Four (4) year undergraduate degree in health information management, health informatics, health administration or another relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role in a health information department and/or patient registration in a mid-size to large organization with direct reports;
- Minimum of two (2) years in project leadership in healthcare project improvement;
- Experience working with patient information portals and their associated functionalities;
- Experience working with various information systems/technology with troubleshooting EMR-related workflow issues; patient identity matching algorithms and/or managing patient requests for correction to their personal health information;
- Strong leadership ability to collaborate, engage teams and execute on action plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral & written) to effectively communicate information to all level of staff as well as patient

- Demonstrates the TOH values in their work and interpersonal relationships;
- Skills in personal computers, mobile devices and related software and an ability to analyze, monitor and understand automated systems and processes;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in dealing with fluctuating deadlines and priorities;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.**You will stand out with**:
- Experience working with external portals or systems (e.g., CareEverywhere, EMPI/PCR, NEODIN);
- Foundational understanding of health information management, electronic patient record concepts, guidelines, and regional registration standards as they relate to the legal medical record.
- Certified Information Privacy Professional.
