**Home Hardware Building Centre Lloydminster is looking for fun, dedicated individuals to join the team in our award winning Garden Centre; working with our seasonal department to create beautiful displays, caring for the animals and supplying a high level of customer service.**

Working outdoors and in the greenhouses, employees will be responsible for keeping the grounds neat, weeding, maintaining flower beds and planters, sweeping and more duties as needed.

This is a physical position, assisting customers with large purchases and unloading trucks.
*
*
Associates will be responsible for monitoring outdoor conditions and adapting displays where necessary based on forecasted weather, under the supervision of the Seasonal Manager.

Associates may also run the cash register in the garden centre as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Watering plants as needed
- Rotating and creating displays to show products at their peak
- Assisting customers with their purchases
- The ability to to problem solve and use critical thinking
- Creativity and merchandising ability
- Knowledge of gardening, outdoor living, products and how tos
- Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing and walking for extended periods
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
- Carry out oral and written instructions
- Computer literacy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2-5 months

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
