**Qualifications**:

- Culinary Certificate/Diploma preferred
- Three or more years of related work experience
- Proven track record in preparing food in accordance with current applicable Health and Safety standards, guidelines and regulations
- Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods which include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events
- Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times
- Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing seasonings, marinades, sauces, vegetables, meats, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements, requisition supplies and equipment.
- Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical cooking techniques
- Prepare foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to:

- measure and mix ingredients
- wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables
- trim and cut meat, poultry or fish
- Clean and sanitize workstations/equipment and follow all client and regulatory rules and procedures

**Schedule**: Every Second Saturday - 10:30am-7pm, extra shifts as needed
