The Miller Group Grade Foreperson

Location: North Bay, ON

**As a Grade Foreperson, You Will**:

- Operate a grader completing various gravel operations and fine grading tasks safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs (including lubricating equipment, and refilling equipment tanks)
- Conduct daily circle checks of equipment before operating
- Complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
- Manage all aspects of site grading (placing subgrade, grade checking etc.)
- Complete schedules and coordinate daily crew operations
- Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members
- Comply and enforce the company’s environmental, health and safety policies
- Act in accordance with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Minimum 2 years of Experience operating a grader
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and grade plans
- Valid G driver's license with clean driver’s abstract
- Operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Effective communication skills and work well with others
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions
- Travel required
