**THE OPPORTUNITY - SET UP CNC OPERATOR**

Test and edit new and existing programs on various CNC lathes and mills. Prioritize your daily work and organize yourself to meet multiple deadlines and customer orders. Follow quality control and manufacturing processes. Set up new and existing jobs. Stay cost efficient. Support and train other Operators to learn and grow.

We have a full cost shared benefit program. We recycle scrap materials to provide a stuff fund. This fund provides staff lunches, BBQs, shop coats and coveralls, birthday cakes, tickets to local events and years of service recognition.
It also subsidizes purchases of steel-toed boots, prescription safety glasses as well as team building and staff events.

**EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**
- 5+ years’ experience as a CNC Set Up Operator
- Knowledge in Mazak is an asset
- High School Diploma
- Apprenticeship in progress, CNC Machinist Technician or Journeyman Certificate is an asset

**SKILLS**
- Mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with your hands
- Attention to detail, multi-task, prioritize your work
- Understand computer programming and CAD/CAM software
- Team player, can-do-attitude, accountable for your actions & work
- Communication, interpersonal skills, self awareness
- Critical thinking, solution focused, execution
