**The challenge we offer**
- Supervise, mentor and recruit a team of caregivers, animators and volunteers.
- Consolidate, enrich and renew the programming of our Youth Zone aged 12-17 and our Diversion Sucession 12-24 program for teens with disabilities, based on the needs of the clientele in each neighbourhood.
- Ensure that our programming contributes to the development and empowerment of young participants; in collaboration with the team.
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of the annual program action plan and maintain a quality service offering in line with the principles and values of The YMCAs of Québec.
- Ensure the implementation of YMCA safety and standards during operations, particularly in relation to sanitary standards.
- Maintain a presence on the grounds of each site, providing interventions and animation for youth.
- Administer, prepare, monitor and respect the budget, and present reports.
- Manage daily data.
- Act as a representative to relevant bodies and participate in various youth-related events.
- Regularly evaluate the impact of youth programs.
- Adhere to YMCA policies and procedures governing child protection.
- Understand and integrate the value of philanthropy within your position and the association, and participate in the annual campaign and/or other fundraising events.

**The person we're looking for**

To carry out his or her mission successfully, the coordinator must:

- Hold an undergraduate degree in recreation or human sciences (social work, psychology, or any other related field) ;
- Have a minimum of two years' experience in intervention and/or animation with teenagers and/or young adults, and/or one to three years' experience in developing and managing community programs, more specifically with young people;
- Have experience in personnel supervision.
- Be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Be fluent in both French and English, both spoken and written.
- Be able to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (occasionally).
- Hold certifications in CPR and first aid (an asset).
- Have no criminal record preventing employment in this context.

**Salary**: $47,900.00-$53,000.00 per year
