**Job purpose**:

- The instructor will teach Little Medical School®'s proprietary curriculum to children aged 4-14 years old in a school/community centre in Ottawa.
- Our programs include:

- Medicine
- Veterinarian Medicine
- Sports Medicine
- Wilderness Medicine
- Nursing
- Dentistry
- Pharmacy
- Nutrition
- Paediatric
- and more
- The instructor is responsible for learning the proprietary curriculum and activities by attending training and completing the self-learning package.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to commit for 9am - 4pm on March 13th - 17th, with the possibility of additional/optional contract work dring academic year and summer.
- Must have current First Aid certification
- Must have completed 1st year of an undergraduate program in a related field
- Must have experience working with children and managing groups of children
- Must have a passion for Science and Health
- Must pass a background check (Vulnerable Sector Check and Reference Check)
- Outgoing personality
- Good communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Good listening skills
- Reliable transportation
- A medical background is not necessary
