**Barrantes & Associates Inc. **is looking for an Assistant Coordinator to assist with taking on an essential role in the daily coordination of services within a progressive and rapidly growing company. By working closely with the Coordinator of Services and Management team, the successful applicant will contribute to the overall success of all Company programs and services while enhancing client support and maintaining a well-organized operational environment.

A successful applicant must have:

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to the company style of communication and correspondence.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to changes, and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, capable of working closely with associates and fellow team members.
- Proficiency and adaptability in using computer software for documentation, communication, and scheduling purposes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Services to create, implement, and manage associate schedules while considering client needs, service requirements, and associate availability.
- Utilize scheduling software and tools to create, maintain, and communicate detailed daily schedules.
- Monitor and manage associate workloads, making real-time adjustments as necessary to optimize productivity and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Serve as a central point of contact for associates regarding their schedules, assignments, and daily tasks.
- Collect input from associates on their availability, preferences, and scheduling constraints as well as incorporate this information into the overall scheduling process.
- Address scheduling conflicts and challenges promptly, collaborating with the Coordinator to develop solutions and ensure continuity of services.
- Assist in tracking associate performance, training requirements, and participation in various programs, providing valuable insights for evaluation and improvement.
- Support the team in training associates on scheduling procedures, time management, and effective client service.

**Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in coordination, scheduling, administration, and/or related roles.
- Experience in the developmental services or related sector strongly preferred.

**Education**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Administration or a related field.

**Work Location**: Fergus, Ontario (Barrantes Head Office)

**Job Type**:Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm

**Salary Range**: $52,000 annually
