**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducts in-person customer visits to respond promptly to on-site service calls to our North American customer base
- Performs troubleshooting of automated systems and components such as but not limited to, electrical, mechanic, hydraulic, pneumatic, robot, 3d axis systems, etc.
- Reads and understands electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics from Voortman and third-party suppliers
- Performs maintenance and inspections of customers’ machines as needed
- Occasionally assists with installations, commissioning, and decommissioning of machines
- Communicates with peers and/or digital resources to gather information pertinent to repairs
- Ensures accurate and timely submitting of expenses, working hours, and daily work reports
- Identifies improvements (i.e., mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, software) based on own observations, feedback from customers or guidance from the organization

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- A valid driver's license and passport for travel abroad
- Able to calmly address travel issues as they arise
- Available for a minimum of 80% on the road jobs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and manage own time efficiently
- Experience working in the steel manufacturing industry 3 - 4 years
- Professional experience working in CNC machinery
- Being able to speak, read, and write the English language is required to interact effectively with internal and external customers while out in the field
- Computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.) at least two years

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
