Wild Rose Co-op is hiring a Store Manager at our Food Store in Camrose, Alberta.

**What you’ll do**:
The position of Food Store Manager will be responsible for approximately $15 million in annual sales, including: Grocery, Produce, Meat, Bakery and Deli Departments.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Build a high-performance team that deliveries on budgeted targets by maximizing the operational efficiency of and returns from the operating assets and employees under their guidance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans that include growth targets and profitability, as well as develop and implement merchandising initiatives.
- Communicate and consult with the Operational Manager about daily operations, budget plans, sales, targets, and other tasks.
- Lead Camrose Food Store teams in providing quality and fresh goods.
- Ensures inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to ensure high levels of accuracy and mínimal losses.
- Provide superior leadership through coaching, development, management of performance, and feedback to team members, so that team members are developed and provide exceptional customer service and technical advice to our guests.
- Drive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the team and operations.
- Ensure that company policies, best practices, training courses, and certifications are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Represent Co-op and our “You’re at Home Here” brand at community and co-operative events.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

- You have a Related degree, certificate or CRS Food Managers training and ADVANCE training.
- You have 5 or more years of operational experience in a leadership role in a similar working environment.
- You’re familiar with commodity sales, gross margin and inventory management.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
