**Project Manager, Planning and Development**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work directly and cooperatively with Team Members within the Cavanagh Group of Companies to achieve project approvals in a timely manner.
- Experience working on both urban and rural residential subdivision development projects within the City of Ottawa and neighbouring Municipalities an asset.
- Working knowledge of current standard urban design and civil design practices of multi-use land development projects.
- Coordinate and manage Project Consultant Team to obtain required submission materials on time and within budget.
- Oversee project budgets and cashflows against approved Proformas
- Participate in relevant industry events and committees
- Monitor and report on relevant industry issues as well as project related issues at City Council, Community Council, Committees of Council and Public Meetings
- Provide planning advice regarding land use matters to Team Members within the Cavanagh Group of Companies.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years directly related experience
- Degree in Urban Planning or equivalent
- Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) an asset
