Children's Program Assistant

We are hiring 4 summer students in 2024: 2 x 14 week positions starting in May, and 2 x 8 week positions starting in July. For the longer positions, applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary education for Fall 2024. This job posting is for the children's positions (one long, one short) but the other 2 positions are working with youth.

Responsibility:

- Provide leadership over the Children's Ministry (Sunday School)
- Provide leadership over children's summer programs such as 2 day camps and assist with a basketball camp and youth camp
- Assist with various administrative duties
- Help us reach and serve the neighborhood as we live out our vision statement Grace Chapel Vision Statement: "Grace Chapel is a diverse community, united by the love of Christ and called to embody that love in our neighbourhoods"

Hours: 35 hours/week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 14 weeks

Pay: $15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3M 4B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
