Role Summary:

- Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland._
Heli-One Canada is looking for a **Site Supervisor**, Responsible for maintenance to airworthy standards, inspecting and releasing maintenance for contracted maintenance support at 400 Squadron, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden, Ontario in support of the CH146 OWSS Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance of all maintenance work packages for assigned aircraft and ensure adherence to planned vs. actual hours.
- Supervises assigned aircraft maintenance employees.
- Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program, which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, general housekeeping.
- Ensure that regular established safety/security audits are conducted and discrepancies are addressed.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities for assigned employees
- Assist customers in daily communications, coordinating, and follow-up for items such as progress updates, customer approval and debrief on work packages, resolution of findings.
- Execute and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up.
- Monitor and oversee workflow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget, including shop floor efficiency.
- Support all teams in returning aircraft to service after maintenance.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Valid Transport Canada AME license (or military equivalent)
- Previous people management experience preferred
- Experience working on B412/212 or CH-146 aircraft required
- Ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with multiple concurrent requirements, ambiguity and demanding situations
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically
- Results oriented with a focus on quality
- Experience working in an environment that has required the conduct of the airworthiness function IAW TCCA Airworthiness Manual (AWM)
- Legally able to live and work in Canada
- Willing to live in Borden, ON
