**Position Overview**

Are you a student in the pharmaceutical field aiming for a career in our region?

We need you this summer for a 14-week full-time period (dates to be determined, May to August 2024).

Hourly rate is $22.00 plus 14% in lieu of benefits.

You'll have the chance to work closely with our team of multidisciplinary professionals.

Your main tasks will be to:

- Support the development and implementation of the ADC medication scanning initiative.
- Conduct audits on various phases of the medication distribution and administration process.
- Support the development of educational resources to prevent and mitigate diversion.
- Support the development of online SharePoint tools to enhance pharmacy and hospital operations.
- Create and maintain reports.
- Conduct huddles on safe medication practices.
- Support pharmacy operations

**Criminal Check**

As a pre-condition of employment:

- All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
- As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**What we are looking for**

This position requires a student with pharmacy training, either a college technician or university pharmacist.

You must be bilingual (English and French).
