Pacific Autism Family Network has openings at our Service Centre in Richmond (3688 Cessna Drive - in person work on location) for Behavior Interventionists who are looking for a positive, rewarding opportunity to provide program inclusion support for both male and female adults on the autism spectrum.

We are looking for:
**2 Full Time Behavior Interventionists who are available and committed to work from Monday to Friday between 900 am to 300 pm, 30 hours per week.**

**The JET program is a high expectation learning experience set in a day program format, Monday to Fridays 0900 - 1500 weekdays ONLY (close on weekends and statutory holidays).**

Our clients participate in individualized, goal-based activities that evolve with the changing needs of the individuals and the group. The primary focus is the use of current best practice strategies to maximize learning, make meaningful changes and build capacity for our clients to work towards successful living in the community.

This is an ideal opportunity for those who are or plan to enroll in an intensive ABA program as the working hours may qualify as supervised BI hours.

**General Duties of position**:

- Implementation of individualized curriculum and behavior plans for adults attending the program
- Collects data, based on data collection standard procedures.
- Receives supervision from professional consultants for each individual client.
- Participates in on-going training program which provides instructions on principles of ABA
- Completes job related duties as directed, includes cleaning and attending team meetings

Preference given to individuals with previous experience but not required as training will be provided.
- be a team player with positive attitude, willingness to follow regulations and exercise good judgement
- have the experience working with neurodivergent individuals
- be legally entitled to and ready to work in Canada **(existing holders with open unrestricted (hours and industry) employment authorization already in place are welcome)**
- CLBC requirement as of Jan 14 2022 - must be fully vaccinated (2 doses) and provision of copy of vaccination card as proof.
- have Standard First AID and CPR Certification (Level 1)
- have WHIMIS (nice to have already)
- have Food Safety Basic Level (nice to have already)
- have a Valid BC Driver's license, preferably Class 4 (nice to have)
- have excellent and clear communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Full Time Position's remuneration will start at $23.50 per hour, paid on semi-monthly basis. Statutory holiday pay (after 30 days employment.
- After successful completion of probationary period, pay will be adjusted to $24.50 per hour
- Paid Sick Leave (10 days per calendar year, prorated from start date)
- Paid Vacation leave (10 days per calendar year, prorated from start date)
