Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for all aspects of processing new orders, initiating work order and invoicing to customers. Ensures that accurate records of customer requirement reviews are maintained and assigns part number to the finished products as required. The position summary is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.
- Process and control sales orders, major work orders, and service work orders
- Enter and register sales orders, service orders, work orders, engineering and development work order
- At the time of creating the work order, from the unit cost summary enter factory hours, engineering hours and material cost estimates for new work orders in computer system
- Send invoices to customers by mail or electronic mail
- Regular follow-up with customers on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt collection
- Back-up and assistance as required for other positions within the Administration department

ATTRIBUTES WE SEEK:

- Diploma in Business Administration an asset
- CUSMA courses
- Previous experience in order entry and accounts receiveble in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills in Excel and accounting software, applied in a work setting
