The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans and improves transportation networks, builds new infrastructure, provides transportation services, and implements transportation policies, to allow for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.

This position provides HR assistance and general administrative support to the CIO (Chief Information Officer), Directors, Manager of HR (Human Resources) Operations, Hiring Managers and employees of the Information Management Branch including recruitment support and guidance regarding the correct interpretation human resource management policies and procedures.

**Job Requirements**:

- Certificate in Office Administrative or equivalent education and two (2) years experience, OR
- Secondary School graduation and three (3) years experience.

Experience must include all of the following:

- Experience assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Experience assisting with administrative functions including consulting with the appropriate agencies for guidance, submitting paperwork and verifying information.
- Experience with payroll and leave management including consulting with the appropriate agency for guidance, submitting paperwork and verifying information.
- Experience working in a professional office environment.
- Experience managing calendars, arranging & scheduling meetings in individual or multiple calendars, filing of business and personnel information.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Experience working in a Strategic HR or HR branch or team.
- Experience with the government hiring processes or corporate hiring experience.

Successful completion of security screening requirements of the BC Public Service, which may include a criminal record check, and/or Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA) check, and/or enhanced screening checks as required by the ministry.
