- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients and customers
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for daily operations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus
- Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and analyze financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
