Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a** Supply Chain Student - Fall 2024 Co-Op Term**

This role is great for someone who is interested in building their financial acumen, is a great relationship builder and loves to leverage data to drive improvements and savings. Presentation skills (building slide decks and public speaking) are also important as our cost control team presents regularly various levels of the business.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Currently Enrolled in a 4-year Degree Program from the following areas:

- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Engineering
- Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry and a desire to join an exciting, fast-paced organization.
- Strong academic performance and a desire to excel.
- Proven leadership in professional, athletic, school or community pursuits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning new technology.
- Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Supply Chain Integration team with assigned Project Management tasks to include deliverables management and coordination associated with delivery of chartered projects linked to Supply Chains Long Term Strategy.
- Help with development of processes, KPIs, reporting, training.
- Leverage strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders across several departments, including Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to prepare and deliver internal and external progress updates.
- Completion of project & team performance reporting
