Handyperson & Caretaker

The Carleton Golf & Yacht Club is currently seeking a **Handyperson & Caretaker**

Located along the banks of the Rideau River just minutes from downtown Ottawa, Carleton was one of the first golf course residential communities established in North America. Established in 1963, CGYC is a member-owned private facility known for its outstanding course conditions, friendly atmosphere, and an unwavering commitment to offering an unforgettable member experience. Carleton is hosting the 2024 Canadian Men's Mid-Amateur Championship.

Carleton Golf & Yacht Club is a 12-month golf facility and includes a championship golf course, an indoor Golf Academy and a Fitness area. With a very active membership, Carleton has many golf, corporate, and social/dining events taking place throughout the year.

- Place service calls when required
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and HVAC systems
- Support building cleaning schedules and administer garbage collection
- Able to do physical work including bending, lifting, and handling tools
- Driver's license and acceptable driving history
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Skilled in maintaining various equipment and facilities

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
