- **JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Manage daily web production (post stories, deploy SEO best practices)
- Write features and news briefs
- Edit online and print stories and help generate story assignments
- Assist with social media posts and weekly newsletter
- Perform other duties that may, from time to time, be required to support the successful operation of Corporate Knights

**CONTRACT TERM**: April 17-November 30, 2023 [with option to renew to full time permanent role]
- **COMPENSATION**: Base salary commensurate with experience. Corporate Knights offers a competitive health and benefits package.
- **LOCATION**: Hybrid/remote depending on location.
- **HOURS**: Full-time. Evening and weekend work may be required occasionally.

- **Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field
- 5+ years experience in online and/or print journalism, ideally with environmental and/or business reporting
- Strong, demonstrable writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with SEO and social media platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Keen interest in sustainability issues is essential
- Experience with WordPress and Mailchimp is an asset
