**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques and recipes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
