**The Opportunity**:
Blyth Academy is seeking a passionate French teacher to engage students and deliver exceptional experiential learning in Ontario curriculum courses. **About the Role/Job Duties**:

- Use a variety of teaching methodologies tailored to each student’s learning style and needs
- Evaluate student progress using appropriate and diverse assessment techniques providing constructive feedback to students and reporting results to parents on a regular basis.
- Create a rich, experiential learning environment in the classroom and in the school community
- Work with Blyth Academy administration, guidance counselors, parents, and professionals to enhance learning and support student success
- Opportunity to grow as a school leader and administrator taking on extracurricular activities and special projects.

**Requirements**:
**About You**:

- University Degree in your area of specialty
- OCT an asset
- Subject matter expertise in the course curriculum, and passion for creating experiential learning opportunities.
- Experience teaching junior/intermediate/secondary school students in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability create an inclusive, positive learning environment and ability to use differentiated teaching strategies in the classroom.
- Empathetic approach and commitment to student success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced school environment.

All teachers and staff working with students at Blyth Academy must be able to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to beginning work.
