Deburring Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Deburring, Sanding, Polishing, and Cleaning of high quality metal and plastic components with tight tolerances, using a variety of hand tools and buffing wheels
- Consulting technical drawings to ensure proper finishing requirements are met, and consulting with the quality department for clarification/validation when necessary
- Maintaining necessary records in digital Work Orders
- Following instructions, regulations and safety policies
- Keeping the working area clean and organized
- Performing other duties assigned by the production manager on an as-needed basis

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION**:

- Experience deburring on parts that require tight tolerances in a manufacturing setting or machine shop is an asset
- Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement
- Effectively communicate information with managers and other co-workers
- Must be self-motivated, a team player with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to stay alert and pay attention to the task
- Able to work under pressure

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Background check, and security assessment for Controlled Goods Program will be required.
- Experience with manual milling and turning machines would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
