**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Inspect and verify all elements of sub-contractor’s coating operations.
- Conduct product and paint system verification.
- Evaluate defects (e.g., WFT’s, DFT’s, blast profile, salt test) and determine acceptance criteria.
- Inspect surfaces for protection from abrasive blasting.
- Oversee trailer load out and tie-down processes.
- Review client specifications and ensure compliance.
- Generate inspection and test plans.
- Collaborate with clients and sub-contractors.
- Travel between different facilities as needed.
- Work independently.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- NACE Level I certification is required; Level II preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a fabrication shop is required.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing needs.
- Industry-specific trade training is an asset.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam is considered an asset.
- CSTS-2020 certification is required.
- WHMIS certification is required.
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
**Working Conditions**:
**Physical Requirements**:
The position demands close visual acuity for tasks such as data analysis, extensive reading, and prolonged computer use. The incumbent must be able to stand and sit for extended periods while performing visual inspections.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
