Le responsable des opérations est chargé de diriger les opérations de l'équipe d'expédition du centre de distribution. Ses principales fonctions consistent à diriger le modèle d'amélioration continue des performances (CIPM) et à former les membres de l'équipe d'expédition. Le responsable des opérations est chargé d'assurer l'exécution en temps voulu du flux de produits vers l'organisation des ventes, et d'assurer l'interface entre l'entrepôt, le trafic et la direction des ventes. Le responsable des opérations doit également faire preuve de solides compétences en matière de gestion de projet afin de garantir des performances optimales.

**Responsabilités**
- Assurer un leadership fonctionnel complet, un encadrement et un soutien technique dans les opérations d'entreposage et de livraison.
- Gérer une équipe de 80 à 90 personnes rémunérées à l'heure, dont les niveaux d'expérience et de formation varient.
- Il est entièrement responsable du développement du personnel et de l'équipe, des performances en matière de qualité, des coûts, du service et de la sécurité.
- Motiver l'équipe pour qu'elle atteigne les objectifs de performance fixés.
- Mener des entretiens individuels avec les membres de l'équipe pour s'assurer que les attentes sont satisfaites.
- Veiller au respect des politiques et procédures de l'entreprise.
- Lancer et mettre en œuvre des projets d'amélioration continue.
- Organiser des présentations et des formations formelles.

**Qualification**
- Diplôme d'études supérieures et/ou diplôme spécialisé (opérations)3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un entrepôt
- Capacités de leadership démontrées et aptitude à diriger pour obtenir des résultats par l'intermédiaire des autres.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication.

**Overview**

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operation of the distribution center shipping team. The primary roles of the Operations Manager are to lead the continuous improvement performance model (CIPM), and develop team members of the shipping team. The Operations Manager has the responsibility to ensure timely execution of product flow to the sales organization, and interfaces between warehouse, traffic & sales leadership. The Operations Manager must also execute strong project management skills to ensure best in class performance.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide full functional leadership, coaching, and technical support in warehouse and delivery operation.
- Manage a team of 80 - 90 hourly team members with varying levels of experience and education.
- Fully responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety.
- Motivate the team to achieve established performance targets.
- Conduct ‘one to ones’ with team members to ensure that expectations are being met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
- Conduct presentations and formal training

**Responsibilities**
- Post-secondary degree and/or specialized diploma (operations)
- 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and leading for results through others.
- Excellent communication skills.
