Studio Tasso is looking to add a Shop Assistant to our team

Our small shop is located in Scarborough, and we're excited to welcome a team-member who is eager to learn, and has a passion for creating. Our specialties are custom cabinetry and furniture, designed in-house.

The scope of work entails general shop and machine maintenance, as well as providing support in woodworking /assembly. This position is perfect for someone who is interested in growing within the company, and has interest in design/furniture making.

**Qualifications and skills**:
1-2 years relevant experience

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Effective communication skills

Having a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation is an asset.

Scheduling is flexible, and you have the ability to set your own hours. Full-time and Part-time options are available.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

- Carpentry: 1 year (required)
