**Situation**:
The YMCA of Greater Moncton responds to critical social needs in the community and works to provide solutions. By nurturing the potential of children, youth and adults, the

The YMCA works collectively with community partners that share the YMCA's determination in strengthening the foundations of community for all people.
**Nature and Scope**:
The position is a senior leadership position. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of
Membership Services is responsible for ensuring excellence in all aspects of customer service, membership sales, promotion and marketing. The incumbent will play a leadership role in implementing YMCA standards to ensure high quality services are provided to members, the community, volunteers and staff. This **hands-on** position is responsible for developing, leading a staff team, collaborating, and being the liaison with all departments in the YMCA as well as the community at large.
**Responsibilities**:
- Duties include supporting the CEO and staff team in the operation of the YMCA.
- Develop and manage annual Membership and Y Café budgets.
- Implement YMCA Canada and Centre strategies with a major focus on membership growth, retention and program quality.
- Provide leadership to the staff team.
- Develop and implement strategies that stimulate member growth and retention.
- Maintain, foster and create positive community relationships.
- Develop and implement an annual marketing, communication and positioning plan.
- Coordinating the recruitment, orientation, training, and supervision of the
Membership and Cafe staff.
- Working in conjunction with the staff and volunteers to ensure YMCA Canada standards are exceeded relative to service and convenience.
- Models appropriate behaviours to staff in line with our Mission, Vision and
Values.
- Represents the Association in a professional manner.

**Qualifications**:
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Public Relations or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and French)
- Previous experience in customer service; flexible and well organized
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A satisfactory criminal record check is required as a condition of employment
**Salary**: $62,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
