Cornwall, Canada Riverdale Terrace Waterfront Retirement Residence Full time

Riverdale Terrace Waterfront Retirement Residence is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and organized activity assistant to join their team Reporting to the Activity Director, you will help plan, organize, and deliver meaningful recreation programs to our residents. Our programs encompass the needs and interests both in a retirement setting and an assisted living environment.

**Skills and Knowledge**:
1. Degree or Diploma in Recreation/Leisure Studies/Gerontology from a Post-Secondary Institution or equivalent.

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail and time management.

3. Strong computer knowledge in virtual visits such as zoom, and FaceTime

4. Able to perform physical work.

5. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.

5. Creative, organized, sensitive, enthusiastic, patient, tactful and mature. Works well with others and independently.

6. Experience in planning, organizing, and managing events is an asset.

7. Current certification in First-Aid and CPR an asset.

8. Willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends and evenings.

9. Must provide
- Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.
- Proof of double vaccination from Covid-19 mandatory.
- Completed T.B test.
