**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs. You will engage with customers, answer the phone, direct calls or give information to callers, and ensure a positive shopping experience while maintaining the store's visual standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing returns or exchanges.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
- Provide assistance with merchandising and restocking shelves to ensure product availability.
- Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards throughout your shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer feedback, orders and inventory needs.
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, ensuring a professional demeanor at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of retail sales techniques.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus.
- Ability to work occasional weekends.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
