**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate directly with engineers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
- Check and correct any mistakes within the drawings.
- Program and setup Sodick Wire EDM machines and work with mínimal supervision;
- Determine machining requirements, dimensional specifications, and set up requirements from programs, process sheets and/or component drawings;
- Select, preset and adjust settings needed for optimal speed and tolerances;
- Ensure effective production of quality parts by completing in-process and final checks using gauges and measuring equipment;
- Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements
- The ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance activities

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- 3+ years in experience operating and/or programming CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using universal grinders, tool grinders, surface grinders, milling machines and drill presses
- Experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven time management abilities
- Proven accountability and ability to take responsibility for their own work
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Observes all safety policies and regulations
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing, technology-driven environment
- Must have the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- CAMWorks experience an asset
