**The Job in a Nutshell**:
Coolbet is excited to welcome a **Sports Trader** to our **North American Sportsbook team** Join our global Sportsbook division, a group of 60+ passionate experts spread across Tallinn, Poland, Scandinavia, and North and South America. Together, we focus on odds compiling, risk management, product development, and delivering an unbeatable customer experience.

In this role, you’ll get to create engaging and precise sportsbook content for our B2C and B2B platforms, including setting odds, updating results, and managing event data. You'll collaborate with an energetic, supportive team and use our in-house tools to make everything run smoothly.

**A Sneak Peek into Your Role**:

- Coming up with enticing and accurate odds for sporting events and launching the appropriate betting markets on the Coolbet platform.
- Monitoring and following incoming bets, making necessary changes to the odds and lines after completing a proper training period.
- Being a team player and liaising with both the Sportsbook and Marketing Teams to ensure Coolbet is always offering an attractive and competitive product online.
- Taking ownership of responsible betting markets, from launch to resulting, including monitoring markets, managing risk, and reporting.
- Taking part in regular shifts, managing risk, resulting manual markets, and responding to customer service sportsbook requests; the number of these shifts is varying depending on workload and responsibilities throughout the year.
- It’s not your typical 9-5 The team’s responsibilities are revolving around the relevant sports schedule, which means working some nights, weekends, and holidays.

**You’re good at**:

- You have passion and knowledge of sports, especially US sports (MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, UFC, PGA), and a strong interest in betting, particularly sports betting.
- Previous experience in betting or working in any department of an online sportsbook is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, with comfort in working with statistics and probability.
- Strong competency in Excel, and familiarity with R or Python is a bonus.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
