Drywaller / Framer

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Framer, where your expertise in carpentry and construction will be crucial in framing structures for various projects. As a Framer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of buildings through precise framing techniques.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with construction teams to interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate framing of structures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to frame walls, roofs, and other structural components according to project requirements.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle materials needed for framing.
- Read and analyze blueprints to determine measurements, layouts, and materials required for framing projects.
- Work closely with carpenters and contractors to ensure precise framing according to specifications.
- Utilize your expertise in concrete finishing and drywall installation when necessary.
- Conduct heavy equipment operation as needed for framing tasks.
- Ensure that all framing work meets safety standards and building codes.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Framer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction practices.
- Experience with heavy lifting and working with hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with concrete finishing and drywall installation is advantageous.

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in Ontario. Must know how to install metal stud walls and drywall / Densglass.

Pay: $22.12-$37.62 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
