**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Manger of Community and Student Affairs, the Technical Support Specialist/Videographer supports recruitment and retention of students at the Pembroke Campus through the creation and editing of promotional and instructional videos, and also provides technical expertise for college events. This includes planning, set up and tear down, and producing of college events such as convocation ceremonies, speaker series productions and college events such as orientation and fundraising activities. This work is done both on campus, in the community and remotely.

The incumbent works collaboratively with faculty, support staff, administration, students and the general public in their day to day work. The position requires the incumbent to be flexible and to also work under deadlines and pressure that comes with television productions.

Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a 2-year college diploma in Television Broadcasting or related field that involves videography and video editing- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a videographer and/or television producer.- Experience working within a post-secondary environment is an asset- Experience using video editing software- Experience operating various types of cameras and microphones- Licenced to safely operate drones for aerial photography/videography would be an asset- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and storytelling skills- Strong ability to work within a team environment- Very organized with an ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during productions such as graduation ceremonies or speaker series events- Strong computer skills- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's licence
